Dr. Jorgensen last visited with us some two years ago, and today provided an update on the opioid epidemic in DuPage County, and the efforts taken to address it. This is a county-wide problem cutting across all socioeconomic groups. The opioid epidemic is evolving from being primarily use of Heroin to the far more powerful and deadly use of Fentanyl and other laboratory produced illegal drugs.
