Fermilab or Particle Physics 101

Our guest speaker was Mike Albrow, recently retired from 25 years of experimental research at Fermilab and 18 years at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. Mike is a member of the Naperville Sunrise Rotary and is visiting area Rotary clubs in view of 2017 being the 50 year anniversary of Fermilab. In addition to reviewing the history of Fermilab, Mike gave us an overview of the current research into Quarks, Heptons, and Force Carriers.
